    Default Repairing F355 fuel sender

Mine is faulty one, reads empty, red light mostly. Any ideas? Occasionally moves but inaccurate, from 3/4 full to empty within the same drive. By the way they are not available new any more.

    Assuming it's not the gauge...

At a price, you could have one custom-made by a company such as Isspro

I had one for an '89 Lotus Esprit made up. If they don't already have a blueprint for a F355, you would have to provide dimensions, number of wires, trigger levels (in ohms), hole pattern, etc. They send you a form to fill out. Unfortunately, the US dollar is quite strong at the moment.

Thanks, I have sent them an email, see what they say. What kind of price are you talking about? Repair would be a first choice.

    Cheers

Sorry, my memory is a little fuzzy. It was quite some time ago. It could have been U$300.

I'd be curious to know what they actually quote you.
