    Default AGM Batteries

When did Ferrari start fitting AGM batteries ?
I have a 2011/12 458 Italia. Will it have an AGM battery.

I have a CTEK MSX5.0 battery tender and I am worried I have not set it to AGM as the voltage profile is different compare to a lead acid.

I think the AGM started as early as the 360, if not then certainly the 430 so I'd assume all 458's are AGM

    +1

360 OEM battery was a Fiamm VRLA battery which is AGM. They need to be sealed and not full of liquid acid as they are in front of the passengers feet.

I cant see a conditioner harming it compared to cycling it with a starter and alternator but Id check the battery anyway to make sure no ones fitted a lead acid replacement.
