    Default 2018 Mille Miglia Tribute

Well this years trip started with a cross country trip from Manchester to Flamborough and back again in the F430. I could have taken the daily but couldn’t resist the trip with the new engine lid. Have to saw the view in the rear view mirror has improved 100% instead of forever glancing at a basic pressed aluminium panel - each check of the mirror yields a view of nice carbon. Anyway swapped 8 cylinders for 12 and have come down to rockingham to collect my semi-tame racing driver who is co-driving this year. He is just completing his last stint of a 24hr race so probably windows open all the way to Brescia - will post along the way.

Alors bonne route - and it's the same spelling in French and Italian.

Well we are here for scrutineering and did Rockingham to Brescia in one hit. What better way to take 10k of the value of my car than an epic trans-Europe-express trip.
Rockingham, Channel Tunnel, Spa, Kempten, Fernpass,Innsbruck,Brenner pass, Lake Garda, Brescia.
Weather was great until Austria where it was torrential rain so the V12 was treated with care and respect.
    Scrutineering in an hour.
