    Not many RH for sale. Only 2 on Pistonheads when I looked last week.

    I can't comment as the only LHD cars I drive are hire cars in Portugal! Much comment on the subject on PH if you search for it. If you do a lot of miles in Europe it could swing the balance to LHD. I believe service history can be a bit patchy to say the least.

    There is a premium for a reason and I'd always go RHD but understand why others take a different view.

    Depends where you do the majority of your miles. In my 599 I do 3,000 miles a year in Europe and about 500 in the UK. Makes sense to change the standard car for a EU HGTE and/ or release some money. A couple of toll booths in and I am sure I will be glad I did.

    But surely you are already equipped with Télépéage/Telepass badges....................

    That reminds me. Probably a naive question, but why do continental Europeans get to drive FREE on UK motorways when we have to pay to use theirs?

    Because we drive for free on ours also (technicality with RFL I know but there is no road charging as such)
    If we charge them under EU law we would have to be charged the same also..

    Maybe post Brexit this will change?
