    360 pump ordered.

Hopefully be here for the weekend so can have a go at replacing it.

Should I be splitting the pump head from the motor to avoid air locks?

Or is it best to replace the whole thing?

If so is there a bleed up process? Cheers!

New pump arrived, will try and start the strip down tonight if I get home at a decent hour.
Anyone got any thoughts on breaking the pump in half or just replace as is?

Replace as one old off new on, no bleed necessary as the hydraulics have not been disturbed.

Pump changed. Was a bit of a faff but not too bad. Main issue was not having a ramp or being able to get the under tray off.
I did split the head off the motor.

The access was not great to do the whole swap and it was easier to split. Plus I did not want to introduce air.
The pump head on the car felt ok nice and smooth not strange noises.

The dead motor that came off also felt ok, which was not what I was expecting. Perhaps spinning a little freely but could feel the field of the magnets.

I don't have a decent high current supply to test it with at home so will have to wait till Monday.

Quick test drive and all was ok. Possibly the down changes were maybe faster? Or is that the placebo effect!!!

Anyway done and dusted. Thanks all for the help and advice. I will report back once the motor has been tested.
