    Beautiful morning here, decided to go out early at 6.30am so very little traffic.

    This is the famous a4069 (the horshoe bend were we took photos on last years WW) and only 10 mins from home for me

    Unfortunatley i picked up two passengers on my run - stopped for petrol and found a bird in each front intake no damage thankfully. Never even had one before

    Doing my bit for the Welsh Tourist Board again today Fantastic drive this morning

    This is the Machynlleth mountain road, which you get on to from the B4518 from Llanidloes. Combined, they make, IMO, one of the top 3 driving roads in Wales, along with one of the best views in Wales.

    Also on this road is the Star inn, Dylife, where we had the buffet on this years Welsh Weeknder

    The viewing point to the left of the car in the last picture is the memorial for Wynford Vaughan Thomas, the broadcaster / journalist, who during WW2 famously reported from on board a Lancaster during a bombing raid over Berlin and also from Belsen.
