Hopefully you don't have to big an issue. Out of curiosity I had a quick google and found this:

    https://www.autotronics.co.uk/ferrar...er-repair.html

Perhaps worth bearing in mind if it'll be of help.

I got the manual on-line, not actually checked my own manual with the car.

Lights on. Left button for MORE than two secs ( looks like the manual is wrong). Multi-function display changes to show the setting. The right button changes it...
I think even if the panel has failed it should still display the setting.

I must confess I have never tried mine I don't think. I say "don't think" because it looks like a very similar procedure to one of my previous/current Alfas.
I am going to check mine this evening.

Seems the problem was caused by jump starting the engine... so I may have to send it away for repair.

Try these......seemed very helpful and knowledgeable on the phone when I rang them. I cannot recommend them personally as I didn't need them in the end but someone might know them.

having got around to sorting this it seems there's a parts shortage !!! as with my ECU !!!!!! so ClusterRepairs UK say they cant get the parts, but Autotronics says send it to them and they will repair it... max cost now 800 ... so anywhere between 250 and 800.... Pro-sport says its a small plug-in board ... but i cant find any details on it...a chap in the USA was selling some on ebay a while back though....
anyone else had this problem of failed illumination lighting ??
also seems a bit of a faff getting the cluster out !!!
