    Thanks for all the comments
Last year it went to Migliore for its major:- cam belts/hills tension bearings/service/valve adjustments/cam seals as weeping/MOT 1598.
And the last two visits before that for normal servicing at Migliore also, so since I've owned it, it's had three specialist services all stamped up and receipts obtained plus all the work I've done myself, so I would say it's been a well pampered car
I will still get Migloire to do the cam belts/service in next couple of years but I'll do the normal service this year and will let them do it the year after.

I take on board your comments though----I WONT get the book stamped but I will get a job sheet/letter head listing work done and materials used, plus I really enjoy tinkering on the car it's make me happy to know I did that myself and like you said I'll spend more time doing a better job probably as well, plus saving a few Quid in the process ( maybe I have a little Scottish blood in me after all)
    Thanks guys

Lots of photos will help as well, before & after shots - that with a job sheet would really put my mind at rest as a potential buyer

Ok so today was the day for MOT and service
As listed in photo all the parts have been fitted, 10 hours it took me and my bro to do
glad I'm not paying for labour I would be well and truly pissed but glad I did it.
We had a few challenging moments doing the front anti roll link arms, getting the new rubber black bushings compressed enough to get them back into the mount was torturous but persistence prevailed eventually.

Next was the starter motor plenty of pics below, I knew from what I'd read on FC is was a pig to get out and guess what? It was because getting the heat shield off there are only three screws but the two of them are on the manifold, one easy to get too but the other you can't see it you can only feel it, we needed an extra extra long extension with a bendy elbow to get the bolt off.
Once off I fitted the new brush box unit, cleaned up the contacts on the armature and fitted the new bushing and solenoid/ greased gears and lightly oiled in 45 mins.
Putting starter back on was much easier

The bosch starter on mine was a 110 series so the research of parts I had were correct, if anyone wants the numbers give me a shout.

    All 8 plugs changed
    Oil/fuel/air filters changed
    8 litres of engine oil
4 litres of gear box oil with a red line additive added, few copper washers
Loads of de greasing fluid used, about 2 litres wanted a nice shine
    Plus bits and bobs
    Knackered now but worth it

Sorry but couldn't get pictures in sequence but you get the idea

Did a bit more maintenance on the 328 today following on from last years starter motor refurbishment project I did.

Oil pan leaking from some of the threads around the pan so used an oil sealant on each thread--- now bone dry and my garage floor will be happy.

Next job was the charging of the car battery from the alternator, it was only kicking out 12.6volts when it should be very close to 14V .

So ordered a replacement regulator for old bosch one that's probably the original from new.

It's now pushing out just over 14 Volts which will keep my battery in good shape and that was with the heaters/lights on full power under load,so very pleased, didn't need to change the slip rings as not worn
    See pics for reference

Just following on from previous odd jobs done on the car.
Tonight decided to take off the Oil vapour collector unit ( or what ever Ferrari call it) and see how bad it was inside before I clean it out with hot water and decreasing liquid.

Sadly I forgot to take a picture of it until I cleaned it, I think I was SO shocked it was so clogged up and took it in for deep cleaning straight away.
picture one of those nasty photos on the back of the new cigarette boxes?
You know the ones where they show all the lungs turn black and yellow and full of nasty stuff, that's how it looked

Cleaned out and refitted, so all you 308/328 owners take it off and clean it out, hopefully yours won't be as bad as mine, probably never been done Before

Picture shows unit and inside AFTER cleaning

    Just adding to this thread.

    Another job done.

If some of you remember back on the Cotswold weekender my car was miss firing slightly
    Under load from 1-2500 rpm,
got round to finally sorting this week.
It's been just over five years/10,000 plus miles since I replaced caps/rotors/HT leads/extenders.
So stocked up on parts from super performance and replaced them.
Miss fire gone and I can report back it was the forward Bank spark plug extenders that were the main culprit, burnt out ends on two of them.its now running as it should.

Long test drive, cleaned/dried and a whole day of detailing it with my new Mop and polish.

Heating main controls to swop tomorrow.

Haven't seen these for sale anywhere for years, very rare items. Tim Walker came up trumps for me,
    cheers 🍻
