New Cavallinos arrived today - front one :is part# 60032109 so ignore the word rear that's for other cars besides 348. Just to complicate things I could only find this by entering the car as a 2.7 motronic rather than a ts/tb which didn't have the front mark. Only difference on the new one is that the threads are a narrower diameter which actually helps with the fitting as it no longer catches on the bracket so quite pleased abut that.

I bought it from Maranello to make sure I got a genuine one - noticed on some websites that do them cheaper certain badges are a slightly different size or the markings on them are wrong?!

Rear has the narrower threads too

I recycled the washers since they were either out of stock or they wanted over 4 pounds each for them!

Its only when you put the new and old together you can see the difference

I bought the matching nuts but didn't use them due to the change in thread size. Thankfully both front and rear badges came with matching nuts attached

Rear part# is 63233900 (note I forgot to take a pic before fitting it so this is actually the old one)

Received the coolant tank today and absolutely made up with it - looks like new! :-)

Quick reminder of what I sent...

And this is what it looks like now - looks brand new. Just got to sort the inside out now with a coat of tank sealer as the tank was chemically dipped

Can you still get the sticker for the coolant tank?

Yep. Have a complete spare set of all engine bay stickers. You can get those ones here I think:

It was dipped rather than blasted as it had a bit of surface rust on the inside so it was to treat that too. I've got some tank sealer to apply as well but not done that yet so need to get my skated on.

It was powder coated but looks just as good as spraying and should be more chemically resistant.

My rear left light needed re-sealing as the outer lense was coming away slightly. After teasing it off I used a pointed tool to srape off the remnants of silicone.

The innards were quite dirty so gave them a clean with some panel wipe.

To minimise overspill of the sealant I taped up the edges.

A bead of sealant was applied round the edges.

Once in place further tape was applied to keep them clamped together whilst it set.
